Frequently Asked Questions

What is shared living?

Shared living means individuals live together in a furnished home while maintaining independence. Each person has a private or shared room, and housemates share common areas like the kitchen and living room. It’s an affordable and community-focused way to live.

What’s included in the rent?

Rent covers your private furnished bedroom, all utilities, internet, house maintenance, and access to shared common spaces. One flat monthly rate—no surprises.

Are there background checks or credit checks?

No. Verification of income may be necessary. Background information may be discussed during the intake conversation. Neither are the deciding factor for placement.

Do you have availability now?

Availability changes regularly. Please contact us directly to ask about current openings or to be added to our waitlist.

How do I join the waitlist?

To join the waitlist, just give us a call or fill out our Co-Living Housing Intake Assessment form online. We’ll walk you through the next steps.

How are roommates matched into shared rooms?

We take time to understand each person’s preferences, lifestyle, and interests. Roommate pairings are based on compatibility and mutual respect to help create a peaceful and enjoyable home environment.

Is shared living safe and secure?

Yes. Our homes are in safe neighborhoods and include safety features like regular wellness check-ins, secure locks, security cameras, and staff as needed.

How long can individuals stay in PathWalk Housing?

There’s no set time limit. Residents are welcome to stay as long as they continue to follow community guidelines and wish to remain part of the home. There’s no long-term commitment — everything operates on a month-to-month basis.

Do you offer refunds?

All fees are non-refundable. However, we do our best to resolve any concerns and support transitions if PathWalk is no longer the right fit.

Are there any required additional fees?

There is a one time small community fee that is paid at the move-in.
